Cadet Greco Roman Recap
7/21/2008 - Fargo, ND

In his first ever trip to Fargo and his first year as a Cadet
Taylor Massa has already made his presence felt.  The
St Johns freshman-to-be controlled Illinois' Joey
Moorhouse in the Cadet Greco Roman 140lb Finals for a
7-0, 3-0 win.  Massa finished 9-0 on the tournament and
only lost one period.

Massa came out firing in the first period, hitting a 3-point
throw in the opening 30 seconds of the match and then
finished the period with a trap-arm gutwrench.

In the second period Moorhouse kept Massa from
scoring in the first minute.  After losing the flip Massa
succesfully defended from the bottom position and then
used another trap-arm gut to score 2 and close out the
match for the win.

"It feels good," said Massa following the match, "All my
hard work has paid off."

Massa finished 9-0 overall in the last three days of
greco-roman competetion and only lost one period.  Next
up for Massa and the rest of the Cadets is the freestyle tournament, which will begin Wednesday morning.
