Scouting Report: Burge has been solid throughout his career and been competetive with the big name guys, however, his FloNationl performance finally sealed the deal that he can compete at the college level. His only loss at the FloNationals was to eventual champ and Indiana state champ Eric Roach. He gave Roach his toughest match, going all the way to the final overtime period. Burge can ride just about anyone in the country and his mat skills should help him transition to college. He is already commited to North Idaho and he could be nationally competetive in NJCAA right away. He could also have a potential future at a bigger school after that if he continues to improve. His only loss at the state tournament was to Taylor Massa (#3 nationally) and he has wins over big recruits like Nick Humes and Dakota Cooley in the past year.
