Spring 2010 - Humes missed the start of his senior year, but finished strong winning the 171lb state title, knocking off Adam Bonner in the state finals. He has not done anything tremendous nationally, but as previously stated his tools are unique for his size and he could be a good late pickup for someone needing a 174lber. His brother Nick is going to MSU and Tyler has made it clear that he would like to join his brother there, however, we are unsure if he is weighing in other options. Officially he has not committed or signed to our knowledge.
Fall 09 - Tyler Humes is like a light weight stuck in a big man's body with his unique athleticism and scrambling ability for his size. He wrestles much like his twin brother Nick (who has already commited to Michigan State), but is significantly bigger in size. Word is that he may end up around 174 or higher in college, and with his ability he is capable of being a very dangerous, hard-to-wrestle guy for his weight in college.
