Lincoln Olson wins Tulsa National Crown, 7 Michiganders place

2/1 - The Tulsa Nationals have widely been recognized as one of, if
not, the elite youth national wrestling tournament in the country for a
long, long time and this year Michigan was well represented with 7
placers and 2 champions at the 56th Annual Tulsa Nationals.

Lincoln Olson, an 8th grader from Davison, stormed through the 15
& Under 82lb bracket en route to the National Championship.  Olson,
who was a MI Grappler Youth Dream Team member last year,
wrestles for the OTA Wrestling Academy and will be a freshman at
Davison next year.

The 15-U division saw a strong group of Michigan middle schoolers
on the podium as 4 others placed in their weight, including Angus
Arthur of Lowell who finished runner up at 145lbs.  Jordan Bennett,
Jake Ellis, and Ryan Prescott also placed in their respective 15-U
weight divisions.

Michigan's other champion was Steven Kolcheff of Hartland who won
the HWT division.  Brock Prater of Team Shamrock finished 4th in the
8U 55lb weight division.
