7/16 - Prior to our initial Fargo preview, we had received word that Highland Park state champs Jarod Trice and Marcel Dubose would not be competing. Following our preview Jamar Whitfield, Highland Park and Silverback Wrestling coach, contacted us via email and assured that Trice and Dubose were in fact training for Fargo and planning on competing. "They have been training like real Silverbacks and are ready to finally win it all at Fargo," said Whitfield. Trice and Dubose are two of Michigan's most nationally accomplished wrestlers and their participation should give Team Michigan a huge boost in the team race. It has also been reported that D2 state champ Travis Pettengill of Flint Kearsley is signed up and ready to go for Fargo as well.
