Bohn is FILA Greco National Runner Up
Bennett takes 5th at Western Regional
4/24 - Jake Bohn continued his national success on the Greco-Roman circuit yesterday as
he finished 2nd at the FILA Greco-Roman National Championships in Las Vegas, NV.
Bohn picked up two falls to advance to the 154lb finals where he fell to Jon Drendel of the
USOEC in Northern Michigan.
Meanwhile, a handful of top Michigan preps competed in the Greco Roman division of the
Western Junior Regional in Vegas yesterday, but Ben Bennett was the only to earn a
medal. Bennett, who won the NHSCA Senior Nationals last month, went 5-2 to finish 5th
at 171lbs.
2x state champ Dan Osterman of Carson City Crystal went 4-2 at 125lbs and finished a
match away from placing.
The FILA Junior and Western Junior freestyle competetions will get underway today. Check back for updates!
