TOURNAMENT DETAILS
Date: Saturday October 12th, 2013. Wrestling begins at 12:00pm Nooon
Location: Kellogg Arena - 1 McCamly Square Plaza, Battle Creek, Michigan

Wrestler Registration Fee:
- $42 pre-registration
- $52 late registration (after October 1st)
Format: One day event. double elimination bracket format. Standard Folkstyle rules will be used with the addition of College Riding Time. Standard folkstyle out of bounds rules will be used, NOT the college extended out of bounds rules. Consolation bracket will wrestle back to the Top 6 placewinners.
We will use a matside pairing format for the start of the tournament - you will be wrestling on the same mat and go in order of bout number to know when you are coming up to wrestle. Each bracket will wrestle up to the final placement matches - all final placement matches will be held and wrestled during the final round, beginning at 6:00pm.
Match Length: Three 1.5 minute periods for Championship Rounds, 1-1-1 periods for Consolation Rounds
Awards: Custom Plaques for Top 6 Placers in each weight. Custom Award for Outstanding Wrestler and Most Falls Award in each division (MS & Elem). Outstanding Wrestler Award chosen by GFC Staff.
Seeding - Grappler Fall Classic staff will seed up to 8 wrestlers in each weight class based on past state and National accomplishments. All seeding information must be entered upon Registration. Registration deadline to be considered for seeding will be Saturday, October 6th at 10pm.
Divisions: Middle School Division - Grades 7th-8th for 2013-2014 School Year
Elementary Division - Grades 3rd-6th and below for 2013-2014 School Year*Elementary wrestlers may move up to MS division, however, they can only enter in one division.*K-2nd grade may enter Elementary Division with parent waiver, which will be available at weigh ins*Middle School wrestlers (7-8 grade) may double enter in High School & Middle School division, however, no additional rest time will be granted for any circumstance!Middle School Weights: 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 120, 130, 140, 160, 185, HWT (Max 250)
Elementary Weights: 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 105, 125, HWT (Max 190)
Weigh-Ins: Friday October 11th, 6:30-8:00pm @ McCamly Plaza.
Saturday October 12th, 9:30-10:00am @ McCamly Plaza
**Wrestlers will be required to wear undergarment or singlet when weighing in.
**If Walk-Up Registration is available, anyone who is not pre-registered will not be seeded and will be drawn in to their bracket.
Weight Class Changes - Upon registration you will enter your weight class. If you choose to change that weight you will need to do so by October 7th at 10pm in order to be seeded at your new weight class. Wrestlers may change weights at any time, however, after 10/7 they may be unable to be seeded at their new weight class. Send weight changes to grapplerclassic@michigangrappler.com.

Border Wars National Qualifiers - Any wrestler who places in the Top 6 of their weight class in the Middle School or Elementary Division will qualify for the 2013 Border Wars Folkstyle Nationals in Battle Creek, Michigan. For more information on Border Wars Nationals, click here.
MI Grappler Fab 50 - This event will be part of the Michigan Grappler Fab 50 Youth Tournament series as a "Super Platinum Event" for the 2012-2013 Season.
