Kamron Jackson returning to Michigan as a Spartan

6/3 - Michigan State received the first commitment for their
2010 recruiting class as former 2x Division 3 state champ
Kamron Jackson recently informed Michigan Grappler that he
would be signing a letter of intent this fall to wrestle for the
Spartans, starting in 2010.

The South Haven graduate was an NJCAA All-American this
year during his freshman season at North Idaho College,
finishing 3rd in the country at 184lbs.  Jackson will remain at
North Idaho next year before transferring to Michigan State
for the fall of 2010, leaving two years of eligibility for him to
compete for the Spartans.

Jackson won Division 3 state titles during his junior and
senior campaigns at South Haven and was also a Cadet
Freestyle All-American.  He is projected to wrestle 184/197
for Michigan State.

The commitment from Jackson is the first of the 2009-2010
recruiting season as the 2008-09 recruiting year begins to come
to a close.  Go to our Recruiting Central to see all the
