Below is a list of the top Michigan recruits who remain uncommited going into the spring signing period...
1. Dan Yates, Hesperia, 165/174
Following his Senior National championship, Yates should be one of the most sought after guys not only in Michigan, but in the country. He defeated the 5th and 7th ranked wrestlers in the country at Senior Nationals.
Yates' Top Prospects: Michigan State, Iowa, North Carolina, Oklahoma
2. Kyler Elsworth, Goodrich, 184
Elsworth is one of the most athletic and talented upperweights around and he has been dominant in the state of Michigan over the past two years. He is a 2x state champ and he had some credible national wins at Disney and the FILA Cadet Freestyle Nationals last year. He should be getting some looks from many big time colleges.

3. Jacob Walters, St Johns, 133
Walters had a great senior season with many big wins, including a couple wins at 135 over other top recruits Andrew Schutt and Paul Hancock. He has placed at Super 32s and Fargo, which makes an argument for him as a D1 prospect.
4. Robert Nash, Roseville, 157/165
Nash made a statement for himself by placing 4th at Senior Nationals. He was D1 state champ this year, but prior to Senior Nationals he had yet to prove himself nationally. He is a big, strong kid that could grow into a nice 165lber.
5. Phil Joseph, Lapeer East, 174
Joseph won a state title this year and probably helped himself out with a strong showing at Senior Nationals. He went 4-2 at Seniors and while he did not have any keynote wins, he wrestled well with a couple quality guys and showed he could be capable of competing at the next level.
6. Billy Osborne, Bedford, 141/149
Osborne capped off an up and down career by finally making the state finals this year, winning the Division 1 140lb state title. Osborne has a unique style, however, his ability to scramble and wrestle from all positions should make him capable of competing at the next level. He has the potential to be a good late signee for a top D1 school, or he could be a high level D2/D3/NAIA wrestler.
7. Grant Pizzo, Brighton, 125
Pizzo came on strong this year, making a run to the D1 119lb finals and wrestling well against Kyle Waldo in the finals. He had a strong showing at senior nationals, falling just short of placing and that performance should make a strong argument for him as capable of competing in D1 collegiately. His size could be a selling point as
well if he can stay 125 his whole career, which always hard to find in college.
8. Allen Krupp, New Lothrop, 125/133
A 3x Division 4 state champ, Krupp is a great mat wrestler and wrestles well from all positions. We have heard grumblings that he may not be wrestling in college, however, if he chooses to do so Krupp should get some interest from most in state schools.
9. Zach Johnson, Rockford, 141/149
Johnson is one of the best wrestlers in this class to never win a state title. He is very good on his feet, usually staying in good position and on the attack. His style should transfer well into college if he chooses to continue wrestling next year.
10. Kyle Dalton, Middleville TK, 133
Dalton is a 2x state finalist and was the D2 125lb state champ this year, dowing some studs along the way. The 2nd and 3rd place finishers from his state chart have already signed to wrestle at D1 schools (Matt Watson-Buffalo, Zach Crim-MSU), so Dalton is definitely D1 caliber.
