7 Michigan Seniors earn NHSCA All-American Honors

4/3- The NHSCA Senior Nationals wrapped up today and the
State of Michigan finished 7th in the overall state standings
with 7 All-Americans.

Three Michiganders won two consolation bouts to advance to
the 3rd place finals.  Joey White (125), Chris Rau (130), and
Brian Gibbs (140), all lost their finale, however, to finish 4th. 

Joe Rendina (125) and Matt Frisch (145) were the only
Michigan wrestlers to win their final match.  Rendina finished
5th at 125lbs while Frisch was 7th at 145.

Justin Heiserman (189) and Esteban Gonzales (119) finished
as Senior National All-Americans with 8th place finishes.
