Scouting Report (Spring 2010): A strong showing at the FloNationals in which RafRod finished 3rd at 160lbs should shoot his recruiting stock up a bit. His physical ability is already well known if you've ever seen him wrestle and his only losses at the state meet the past two years were to guys name Morse and Jordan Thomas - both nationally ranked. He could be a diamond in the rough for some colleges out there looking to make a late addition.
(Fall2009): Rodriguez was one of the state's best kept secrets until his breakout season last year where he finished 3rd in the state, losing to only Jackson Morse in the semifinals. In terms of physical stature, strength, and explosiveness you won't find many guys better than him. He has not had a whole lot of national experience, however, with some technical work he could blossom into a solid college wrestler after a few years in a college room.
