Scouting Report: Flowers had a strong showing in last year's state tournament, finishing 2nd at 112lbs, but he did alot for himself by his performance in Fargo. He went 3-2 in Freestyle at 119lbs, which is a traditionally deep weight and he scored a big win over 2x Arizona State Champ Christopher Ornelas. Ornelas is a Fila Cadet Greco All-American and he also beat DCC state champ & nationally ranked sophomore Alec Mooradian at the FILA Cadet Freestyle Nationals last spring. Flowers should be a lifetime 125lber in college, and lightweight depth is always a commodity in college rooms. With his Fargo performance and win over Ornelas he showed that he is capable of competing with top tier guys.
