10/15- The 2013 Grappler Fall Classic was bigger and better than ever with 15
states represented and nearly 700 wrestlers ranging from 1st to 12th grade
packed into Kellogg Arena for an action-filled day of wrestling that ended with a
select few bringing home the honor of GFC Champion.  Mark Hall (pictured) of
Minnesota was named the Outstanding Wrestler in the High School Division
after knocking off a pair of nationally ranked wrestlers to win the 171lb title. 
Jaxon Smith of Georgia was OW in the Middle School Division while Dominick
Lomazzo of Michigan was OW in the Elementary Division.  Check back

9/1 - The #1 ranked 160lber in the country is registered for the Grappler  Fall
Classic!  3x State Champ, 3x Fargo Champ, and 2x GFC Champ Mark Hall of
Apple Valley, Minnesota is coming back to defend his title, registered
at 160lbs.  Hall won the 2012 GFC at 152lbs and won the 2011 GFC at 145lbs. 
In 2011 he was also the GFC's Most Outstanding Wrestler.

Florida shredder Fox Baldwin coming to GFC
8/29 - One of the best grapplers from the Sunshine State is making the trip
north to battle it out at the GFC!  3x State Champ Fox Baldwin, ranked #2 in the
country by FloWrestling, is entered at the 160lb weight class.

Nebraska star Adams registered at 135
8/20 - 3x Nebraska State Champ Colton Adams signed on to #GetSome today, registered for the Grappler Fall Classic at 135lbs.  Adams, a Folkstyle National Champ last year, is ranked #8 in the country by FloWrestling at 132lbs and joins Zac Hall, the #2 wrestler at the same weight, both registered at 135lbs.

Returning OW Zac Hall coming back!
8/12 - 2x GFC Champ Zac Hall of St Johns, MI is signed on for a return trip to GFC this year.  Hall, who was the OW last year after winning the title at 130lbs, is registered at 135lbs this year and will look to become the first ever 3x GFC Champion.  Hall, committed to wrestle at Michigan next year, is a 3x State Champ, 4x Fargo All-American, ranked #2 in the country by FloWrestling.

Wrestling is becoming a year-round lifestyle as opposed to a Winter season sport and Preseason wrestling has become a staple for those looking to compete at the next level.  The Grappler Fall Classic provides an environment to compete during this essential preseason time right here in the Midwest, 
the heartland of high school wrestling!

The 2013 Grappler Fall Classic will be just like the first two years with college riding time rules, college extended out-of-bounds rules, college officials,
college coaches on hand, and a fast track to national exposure for the Champions!

This year's event will once again invite the roughest and toughest Elementary and Middle School grapplers to compete alongside the high school
studs.

For the 2nd straight year we will be holding the GFC in Battle Creek, Michigan at Kellogg Arena, the mecca of high school wrestling in Michigan and the historic home of the MHSAA Team State Finals.

The Grappler Fall Classic is a high-school preseason event featuring College-Style rules, including riding time and extended out-of-bounds rules that are used at the College Level.

Recruiting Portfolios
In order to assist you in the college recruiting process and get your name out to Colleges nationwide, Michigan Grappler will provide Recruiting Portfolios for all Junior and Senior wrestlers who compete in the Grappler Fall Classic and send it directly to all NCAA Division 1 college coaches in the country!  So not only will you show them what your made of by competing in the Grappler Classic, but we will reinforce that by sending your information to every coach's fingertips.

Battle Creek, Michigan is centrally located in right in the center of the Midwest - the heartland of Amateur Wrestling!  Kellogg Arena is just 85 miles from the Ohio state line, 50 miles from the Indiana state line, 150 miles from the Illinois state line, and under 300 miles from the Pennsylvania state line!
