Fab 50 Update: End is near as only a few events remain!
4/15 - The heart of the Fab 50 season has concluded and with only a few events remaining Mark Hall has pulled ahead into sole possesion of first in the Fab 50 standings. With a win at the Reno Worlds Hall is now 4 points ahead of his CMS teammate Dominic Sutermeister.
CMS wrestling club holds down the top three as Nathan Ellis remains in 3rd followed by Big Rapids' Zack Cooper who moved up to 4th.
While the Fab 50 season is winding down, there is still plenty of opportunities to score more points this year. The Fremont BorderWars tournament on April 19 is next up and the Ohio Tournament of Champions on April 26th provides a chance for big time points as it is the final platinum event in the Fab 50. The MUSAW freestyle and greco state finals are set for the first weekend in May and also provide an opportunity to score some major points in freestyle and greco.
As of now the final Fab 50 event for this year will be the University of Michigan Camp BorderWars event on July 12th in Ann Arbor, which was recently added. The Lowell Fair in August has been removed from the 07-08 Fab 50 schedule and will instead serve as the first event for next year's Fab 50. Any tournament directors hosting summer events that are interested in adding to the Fab 50 for this year, please contact us ASAP so we make changes in time for this year.
