University of Michigan true freshman and 2008 Division 1 state champion Zac Stevens will be wrestling for 5th place at 63kg/138.75lbs after defeating fellow Michigan native and former Senior National All-American Brennan Brumley to get into the top 6.  Brumley, who was a 3x state runner up for Warren Woods Tower High School, is a freshman at Old Dominion and will be wrestling for 7th place.

University of Missouri redshirt freshman and former Grand Ledge High School standout Pat Wright went 4-2 at 74kg/163lbs and will be wrestling for 5th place.  Wright, a former Cadet Freestyle National Champion, will get a rematch with Matt Brown of Iowa State who he lost to in the quarterfinals.

2009 Michigan Grappler High School Wrestler of the Year Ben Bennett earned All-American status in a loaded 84kg/185lb weight class.  Bennett lost his 2nd round match to Penn State All-American Quentin Wright 1-1, 4-0, then scored two big wins over fellow blue chip recruits from a year ago.  Bennett knocked off Iowa freshman Grant Gambrell, which avenged a Fargo loss from two summers ago.  He then downed Northwestern freshman and Junior Freestyle National Runner-up from a year ago Brian Roddy to earn All-American status.  Bennett lost to NCAA Qualifier Luke Rebertus of the Naval Academy in three periods to drop to the 7th place finals match.
