Reigning Wrestler of the Year Hall leads Fab 50 standings
3/26 - The first reporting of the Michigan Grappler Fab 50 standings has been released and
to little surprise it is 2008 MI Grappler Youth Wrestler of the Year Mark Hall of CMS
Wrestling Club who sits atop the standings.
Hall has been equally impressive this year as he was last, winning titles in every Fab 50
event which he has entered. He currently sits in first with 124 total points and his notable
titles include wins at the BorderWars Nationals, Tulsa Kickoff Classic, Liberty Nationals,
and CK Viper Pit.
Currently in 2nd place and trailing Hall by 7 points is Dalton Ballantine of Clio. Ballantine's most impressive title of the year was winning the Tulsa Kickoff in the fall. The only other wrestler currently with over 100 points is Zack Cooper of Big Rapids/MI Xtreme, who has ammased 103points and is 19 points shy of Hall.
The Fab 50 is hitting its home stretch with the MYWAY State Finals next weekend and then the MUSAW Freestyle/Greco season just around the corner. We have added a handful of freestyle/greco events including the MUSAW State Championships and the USA Wrestling Central Regionals. Check out the Fab 50 page to view the updated schedule.
