Spartans, Eagles win in College Week 2
11/27 - All four D1 colleges were in action last
weekend and Michigan State and Eastern
Michigan were the only two to come away with
dual-meet victories.  The Spartans routed EMU
Thursday night in East Lansing, 24-9 behind Nick
McDiarmid's (pictured) win over nationally ranked
Nick Whitenburg at 197lbs, but the Eagles
bounced back nicely with a 18-16 win over #23
Stanford on Sunday afternoon in Ypsilanti. Stanford
and Michigan native coach Jason Borelli wrestled
three duals in two days, scoring wins over #19
Michigan on Saturday afternoon and #25 Central
Michigan on Monday night.  Click more for a full rundown of last weekend's action.

Logan Massa missed Fargo with a broken ankle, but he has looked better than ever in his return this fall. Thanks to a pair of national titles at Super 32 and the GFC, the junior unseats teammate Zac Hall to claim the #1 spot.
